Configuring Hotmail to Accept Emails from Us
How to stop Hotmail from blocking our emails and alerts.
Depending on its current configuration, Hotmail may classify email received
from us as spam. Should this be the case, you would find our email messages
diverted to the "Junk" folder of your Hotmail account rather than reaching the
inbox. If you are currently not receiving some or all of our emails, you need to
change your Hotmail account settings. There are three things you can do. Proceed
as follows:
- Safe List: In the "Mail Handling"
section of Hotmail, go to "Options" and add the following email
address to the "Safe List":
- /content/signup/feedback.asp
By placing email address on the "Safe List" in your Hotmail account,
you are ensuring that mail from us will never be considered spam (filtered out
as "junk") and will instead find its way into your inbox.
- Hotmail Contacts: Manually enter our
three email addresses into your "Hotmail Contacts". Again, this will
ensure that our emails will reach your inbox.
- Block Sender List: Make sure that none
of our three email addresses are listed in your Hotmail "Block Sender List".
You can access the "Block Sender List" from the "Options" page
under the "Mail Handling" section.
