Why trade indexes?

Index trading allow to a trader with relatively small investment to diversify the portfolio in all stocks from the index basket. In addition an index cannot fill a bankruptcy. The index components are selected by certain rules and there is no need in the complex fundamental analysis which is already done.

The price and volume of individual stocks fluctuate with unpredictable events such as news, rumors and earnings reports.
