The Java plug-in upgrades the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) which ships
with your browser, to a version that can support our application. Here is what you
have installed on your computer:
You can
ignore your browser's native JVM as it is overridden by the JVM plug-in.
The correct version
of the plug-in to have installed on your machine is the Java Runtime Environment
1.2.2 or above. If you don't have this plug-in installed, please read the
following instructions:
Enabling Java in Internet Explorer:
If you are using Internet Explorer and the settings for Java support have
been disabled, you will not be able to view our JavaCharts. We thus
recommend enabling Java in your browser. Proceed as follows:
Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools" then on "Internet Options".
Select the "Advanced Tab"
Scroll down until you see "Microsoft VM"
Make sure "JIT compiler for virtual machine enables" is checked.
Enabling Java in Mozilla and Netscape:
If you are using Mozilla or Netscape and the settings for Java support have
been disabled, you will not be able to view our JavaCharts. To turn the
settings on, do the following:
Click on "Edit" and "Preferences."
Expand the "Advanced" group by clicking on the little triangle.
Click on "Scripts & Plug-ins" and make sure the box for "Enable
JavaScript for Navigator" is checked.
Enabling Java in FireFox:
If you are using FireFox and the settings for Java support have
been disabled, you will not be able to view our JavaCharts. To turn the
settings on, do the following:
Click Tools, then click Options.
Click on Web Features.
Make sure the box for "Enable Java" is checked.
Make sure the box for "Enable JavaScript" is checked.
